A parallel blast does not create 29 disappointed members if the message says first to claim. It creates one booking and 29 people who now know the 6 p.m. class runs full. Put the fee in the claim message itself, not on a policy page nobody opens: claiming this spot books you in, and no-shows are charged the drop-in rate. Waitlist depth at 24 hours out is a planning number rather than an automation one: any class holding four or more waiting members for three consecutive weeks is telling you to add a time slot, move rooms, or price the peak hour differently.
What do the first two weeks of rollout look like?
